'Vestido de Noiva'

Originally written in 1943, Wedding Dress (Vestido de Noiva) is widely regarded as the play that revolutionized modern Brazilian theatre. It follows Alaíde, a young bride on her deathbed, navigating memories, hallucinations, and reality through a non-linear tapestry that explores repression, guilt, morality, and madness. This production brings Nelson Rodrigues’ seminal work to Off-Broadway audiences for the first time in New York.
